Cheney reared his ugly, war crime-committing head today in a policy speech. Wait. Cheney isn’t in power any more. Why the hell is he making a policy speech?
The sad reality is that devoid of any substantial ideas about how to govern this nation, the GOP has adopted a scorched earth policy and is working hard to weaken or destroy any effort the Obama administration mounts. The latest attack dog is former vice president (appointed) Dick Cheney.
Today’s speech was short on anything other than fear mongering and rehashing the failed and soundly rejected policies of the last administration. So why the hell is anyone giving him the time of day, much less the opportunity to speak in front of a camera or a crowd?
The only time I want to hear from Dick before his obituary is when he testifies before a truth and reconciliation hearing and his subsequent trail for crimes against humanity. So. Dick. Sit down and shut up. The bailiff will come for you when the court is ready.
